A scenic gem known for its groundwater forest, thousands of pink flamingos, and the elusive tree-climbing lions.
Arusha National Park
The closest park to town. Features stunning views of Mount Meru, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and opportunities for walking and canoe safaris.
Ngorongoro Crater (Long Day)
A longer day trip, but absolutely worth it to see the highest density of wildlife in Africa within the walls of a collapsed volcano.
